Memphis Teaching Fellows (MTF) is seeking motivated, high-achieving professionals and recent college graduates from all backgrounds to revitalize the education network and communities of Memphis by becoming teachers in Memphis City Schools.
The Memphis Teaching Fellows program is committed to collaborating with other dedicated educators in the system to deliver an excellent education to every Memphis City Schools student. Fellows will bring their knowledge, experience, and record of success to their classrooms. By teaching a high-need subject in a Memphis City Schools classroom, Fellows will open new doors for their students and give them a greater chance of being successful in life. We are looking for outstanding candidates to teach mathematics, chemistry, English as a second language, Spanish, and special education.
Candidates will benefit from a streamlined application and selection process and, if selected, have the opportunity to pursue their Tennessee teaching license while teaching in an MCS classroom and receiving a full-time teacher’s salary and benefits.
